Ing. Erich Wlasak, MSc, BA (Executive Director)


With more than 25 years of management experience in industry and as a partner in international consulting firms, Erich is passionate about bringing something new to the world or working with clients on the most complex problems. Erich has an impressive track record of overall leadership of global pioneering and transformational projects in the world's most challenging sectors. His experience in leading safety-critical programs ranges from the automotive industry to the energy sector and air traffic management. As a strategy consultant and expert in industrial and service companies, he is well connected nationally and internationally. 

DI Gerhard Brecka (Managing Partner, Head of Sales & Operations) 
 

With more than 25 years of leadership experience in various industries, including more than 10 years as Managing Director or CEO of international companies, Gerhard knows how to run a business successfully. Driven by a highly cooperative attitude, he has built a broad and sustainable network of partners in the aluminum, automotive and packaging industries. He holds a Master's degree in Metallurgy (Montanuniversität Leoben) and completed several postgraduate courses in Fontainebleau and St. Gallen. Gerhard loves to open up new horizons and make the world cleaner, more sustainable and waste-free.

DDI Christian Huber  (Managing Partner, Head of Sustainability and Materials)

 

After several practical positions in woodworking companies, the trained carpenter completed a degree in forest and wood management. With his specialist knowledge, he covers a broad spectrum ranging from sustainable forest management to the selection of materials for various timber constructions. With his extensive experience in processing and his craftsmanship, Christian is able to implement complex solutions from design to production and assembly. Together with Alexander, Christian forms the engineering axis at Hycobility and is also responsible for purchasing and material selection. 

DI Dr. Alexander Stadlmann (Managing Partner, Head of Engineering)


Alexander has 15 years of practical experience in the planning and implementation of projects in yacht and vehicle construction and with sustainable hybrid material combinations. He achieved his doctorate on the subject of manufacturing technologies for wood-based hybrid structures at the Boku in Vienna. Alexander is passionate about the most complex calculations and designs, which he is able to put into practice with his high level of practical skills, including production and assembly. Alexander is extremely fast, straightforward and implementation-oriented, which is why there will hardly be anyone who does not immediately appreciate him. One of his passions is working in his own forest in the Schneeberg area. 

Priv.Doz. DI Dr. Ulrich Müller (Managing Partner, Head of R&D)


Ulrich is a practitioner with a scientific education. From his training as a carpenter to his studies in forestry and his habilitation as a wood technologist, he has a considerable number of projects, teaching activities and publications to his name. His specialist knowledge primarily covers the areas of material science, material testing, hybrid and composite materials, bonding, processing and forming technology in the field of automotive, mechanical and plant engineering with renewable raw materials. Due to his experience and knowledge, he is able to lead product developments from conception to industrialization. In his spare time, he writes books, shoots and edits videos and is a pretty decent cook.
